Monday, October 5, 2026 - Paid leave - Woke up at 3:32. ▽ Banana, toast, soup, raw vegetables. ▽ Watched the new anime "Saikyo Uchusen", "Yowaki MAX", and "Magical Rivo". ▽ Feeded the four cats and drove to Nagasaki Station in [Eichel/JA24EL]. ▽ Took the JR train departing at 6:29, then transferred to a bus, arriving at Yutoku Inari at 8:40. The shrine was still "outside of business hours". Just like in the anime, shrine maidens were sweeping the garden. I was able to visit the main hall, but the "inner sanctuary" was closed off, so I went to the treasure hall instead. ▽ Walked around Kashima city, but I can't deny the impression that the administration is neglecting tourism. For example, the family temples of successive feudal lords were in a state of disrepair, and the path to the graves was an impassable animal trail. The Hama district - the sake brewery street was nice. The katsudon at Kintoki Shokudo, which doesn't boast at all about being in business for 90 years, was just as good as its reputation. ▽ When I arrived at Hizenhama Station, there was a lively departure ceremony for the luxury train "36 plus 3".
