Friday, October 9, 2026 - I was awake from 3:52. Three cats came to the front door. ▽ Bananas, sliced {emj_ip_}{emj_ip_}bread, yakisoba, raw vegetables. ▽ I watched the anime "Ice Castle". "Separation and reunion" is a key theme of the work. ▽ At 7:13, I went to work on [Window 2/JA26W2]. Route 11. It's not really relevant, but was it yesterday that I saw a news report of a Nobel Prize-winning professor riding a bicycle? (I'm not sure) ★★★★★ Worked from 8:00 to 17:00. Did a typical Friday job. ★★★★★ After leaving work, I used the ATM. It was the last day of the Nagasaki Kunchi festival, and the town was incredibly crowded. I guided a woman who was going to a job interview at an izakaya, but she said her bus got stuck in traffic and she was 30 minutes late. She said she contacted them by smartphone, but I wonder if she got the job? (Shall we go for a drink there?) ▽ I ran to the post office and picked up my Rakuten debit card. On the way back, I saw the "Jaodori" (snake dance) being performed in front of people's yards. ▽ I was planning to buy cat food at [Direx], but it had gone from 799 yen to 872 yen. I asked the staff if it would go down in price again, but I couldn't get a clear answer. For the time being, I decided to pass on it. Of course, this was because I needed to compare it with the products at [S-Mart]. I had come all the way here in my [Window 2] with a cargo bed, but there was nothing to load into it. ▽ When I got home, four cats came over. Dinner, while I was dubbing anime, consisted of toast, fried champon, raw vegetables, cocoa, and roasted barley flour. ▽ The debit card required (further) initial setup. I hadn't been told about this. I opened the setup site from the QR code, but as usual, it wouldn't accept input from my feature phone. This is now a "feature phone problem." My enthusiasm suddenly cooled. I'm just going to leave this card as it is. Even if I contact the call center, I'm sure I'll just get the runaround or be turned away by an automated voice. I'm just going to leave it as it is. ▽ I thought it didn't have to be tonight, but I'll just do it as usual. It's Friday, so I did the laundry. ▽ I enjoyed listening to the radio, but I quickly got bored with "Watanabe Misato's All Night Nippon" and turned it off. So I was able to listen to "Boyaki Senryu" carefully.
